This is your weekly MUSIC DEPARTMENT update!
Hello Folks!
You made it through your first home football game! Yes!
Now, hopefully, you see the point of everything we're doing and all the roadblocks you'll run into in a public performance. But even if you don't we will start Tuesday by reviewing footage so we can be more aware of ways we can improve.
Our focus this week is primarily going to be on getting Movement 3 on the field. After some thought, I think our goal will be to add the third movement to perform on Friday. Like I'm sure you are, I want to clean everything very badly, but I'd like to get our entire show on the field first so that we at least have drill setting out of the way. That said, there is plenty you can clean on your own. The big conversation we've been having and will continue to have going into this week will have to do with how we need to do better about applying the lessons we learn in fundamental time to the performance material. Let's keep pushing!
Weekly Walkthrough
Monday, the Jazz Band Rhythm Section is working on Jammin' from 2:30pm to 4:00pm.
Tuesday, there is a Woodwinf Sectional from 3:00pm to 3:45pm. We also have After School Rehearsal from 4pm to 7pm. After rehearsal, we have the EOY Trip Meeting in the band room! You won't want to miss it!
Wednesday, there are no events scheduled. Mr. Moore will be at BCMS during the school day but Mrs. Snyder will be your sub! Yay!
Thursday, we have After School Rehearsal from 4pm to 7pm.
Friday, we have a Pep Rally during the school day. If our shirts come in, then we will wear those with jeans. If not, wear wildcat gear during the school day. We also have HOME vs. Palm Bay HS. 4:00pm Call Time. We will plan to wear full uniform again.
