We are excited to announce that Woodwind Captain Evan Harris and Brass Captain Alekzander Tsaregorodtsev have both been selected to represent Baker County High School at the 42nd Annual FSU Tri- State Band Festival in Tallahassee, FL!
This ensemble is a selective nomination ensemble that accepts band students from Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. This year, the nomination panel received over 650+ nominations from over 150 schools.
Evan currently is a Junior who serves as the Woodwind Captain of the Wildcat Pride Marching Band, as well as principal flautist/ piccoloist in the Baker County Wind Ensemble and a saxophonist in the Baker County Jazz Ensemble. She has served as leader in the BCHS band program since the year 2022. Evan has participated in numerous summer band camps and frequently has appeared in the North Florida Honor Band. Evan is also affiliated with the Florida Flute Association as a student member.
Alekzander currently is a Senior who serves as the Brass Captain of the Wildcat Pride Marching Band, as well as principal trumpet in the Baker County Wind Ensemble, and lead trumpet in the Baker County Jazz Ensemble. He has served as a leader in the BCHS band program since the year 2021. Alekzander has frequently appeared in the North Florida Honor Band. Alekzander has also taken several solo and ensemble performances on to District and State Solo and Ensemble Music Performance Assessment to earn Superior ratings.
